ClinNote Terms of Service

Effective date: March 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ClinNote’s website and services (the “Service”). By using ClinNote, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Use of Service

ClinNote provides tools to help clinicians generate documentation such as transcripts and SOAP notes. You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice for material changes when practical.

Clinical Disclaimer

ClinNote may generate AI-assisted documentation. AI-generated notes must be reviewed, verified, and edited as needed by a licensed clinician before use in official documentation. ClinNote does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must ensure you have the appropriate patient consent and authorization to record sessions or include patient information.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of the final documentation you save or export.

Subscription and Billing

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, trial terms, and billing frequency will be presented at checkout or on the billing page. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled.

You may cancel at any time in accordance with the subscription terms. Fees paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, used the Service in a way that could cause harm, or for other lawful reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClinNote and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
